Hills Montessori’s Open Day will be held on Saturday 5th April 2025. We would like to invite families who would like to explore our nurturing environment and innovative programs to join us. We celebrate each child’s unique journey towards becoming self-motivated, independent learners.

Exciting new additions to Hills Montessori’s Under 3’s Program

Hills Montessori is thrilled to expand its Under 3’s Program with two new classes starting in March 2025.

Established in 1979, we’re the only preschool in the Hills District offering authentic Montessori programs.

We provide Montessori programs for ages 15 months to 6 years, fostering a rich and varied learning experience.

Ari and I have been lucky enough to do the Parent/Toddler classes and absolutely love them, thanks to Charlotte. She is so patient, knowledgeable and warm. I felt confident in sending my children to Hills Montessori. From initial enquiry into the school, speaking with administration and enrolments, through to the class guides and principal, you will find consistency among staff with a warm, friendly, inviting disposition. The class guides believe in what they do, they are supportive and encouraging  when imparting knowledge and I felt like they knew my child. My children have attended the full day program finishing at 4pm.  For a young child this is a long day. However, I am impressed with the balance of the day’s schedule. It has well organised inside and outside activities, plenty of playtime and set times to reenergise with foods breaks. At the end of the day, I pick up a fresh faced, smiling child which has given me great reassurance in my choice.

The teachers and staffs at Hills Montessori are the most dedicated, patient, knowledgeable and kind educators. My daughter has grown from being shy and reserved to a confident, happy and always inquisitive preschooler under their guidance and care. The wide range of learning aids and activities extend to languages, environmental sustainability, cultural awareness, botanics, not to mention English and numeracy. My daughter starts to appreciate the world around her in depth and width at a very young age. I can not thank nor can I speak highly enough of this preschool. Can’t wait for another few wonderful years with my second child!

We deliberately chose to send him to the Hills Montessori, despite some distance from our house, as we know it’s a great pre-school. We were so pleased with how Jordan has been settling in and he really loves to go each week to see (you, Lynelle, and Marie, and now Jenny too) his teachers. Montessori is a warm and loving environment, where a child can find their passion, and build on it. Guided by a team of teachers that both love what they’re doing and have so much knowledge to share. Their enthusiasm is infectious. My son didn’t just bring home creative  trinkets he made himself, he also brought home a love of science and maths and the skills to apply them in every day life. I cannot thank the Montessori team enough for the world they have opened up for my little boy, and the strong foundation they have helped me build for him.
