Hills Montessori is very thankful to the elders from the Wolkara Elders Group in Blacktown for visiting us yesterday and sharing information about First Nations Culture with us.
Yesterday we were very fortunate to have five Elders from the Wolkara Elders Group in Blacktown. Aunty Vicki, Aunty Stella, Aunty Deb, Aunty Dephne and Uncle Toddy shared so many valuable gems of the First Nations Culture with the children. They said they felt warm and welcomed here at Hills Montessori and promised to return to build a long term and ongoing connection with us. We soaked up all the warmth they shared with us through their beautiful singing, stories, music and wealth of knowledge.
