Application form

To add a child to the waiting list, the Application Form and fee must be submitted. The Enrolment Officer will acknowledge receipt of these documents by email.

Step One

School Tour

Before a formal offer is sent to parents, they will be invited to tour the school with the Enrolment Officer, Administration Officer, or Head of School.

Step Two

Formal letter of offer

The enrolment officer will send a formal letter of offer to parents outlining their start date. The program handbook, calendar and relevant policies will also be sent to families.

Step Three

Welcome information

The Parent/Toddler educator will send a welcome email to all new families to introduce themselves and provide families with helpful information to prepare them for their first session in the program.

Step Four

Commencement

New families will be stagger started at the beginning of each term to allow the Parent/Toddler educator to spend time with each family familiarising them with how the program operates.

Step One

School Tour

Step Two

Child Observation

Once the tour is completed, the Head of School will invite the parents and child to an informal meeting before issuing a formal offer. During this meeting, the Head of School will discuss our procedures to ensure parents fully understand the enrolment process.

The child will be discreetly observed to understand their stage of development better. This observation helps the child’s teachers set appropriate activities for a smoother transition upon commencement.

Parents will be asked to submit reports if their child has additional needs.

Step Three

Formal Letter of Offer

The Enrolment Officer will send a formal letter of offer to parents. Upon receipt of the Placement Fee, the Enrolment Officer will allocate children to the appropriate classroom.

The Enrolment Officer will inform the teachers if they have been allocated a child with additional needs, allowing the staff to prepare an appropriate program for the child.

Step Four

Orientation

Children will be invited to attend an orientation session prior to their commencement to meet their educators and become familiar with their classroom.

Step Five

Inclusion Support Plans

If a child has a disability, their teacher will organise a meeting with the family before the child commences to discuss the support plan/program being developed and gather input and feedback from parents.

If required, the Head of School will submit an application to the Inclusion Support Program for funding.

Step Six

Commencement

New children will commence in smaller groups
and start dates will be staggered over several weeks to allow educators to
maximise their time with each child help them settle into their new classroom
and to introduce them to a range of different Montessori materials.

Step One

Attend a Kindy Information Evening

All families are invited to attend our Kindergarten information evening so they can make an informed decision when choosing a school for their child.

Step Two

Submit the Kindergarten application form

Application forms will be sent to all families who have attended the Kindergarten information evening, alternatively, you can also request one by contacting the office.”

Step Three

Formal Letter of Offer

The enrolment officer will send a formal letter of offer to families who have been granted a place in the program.

A deposit of the following year’s Term 1 fees is required to secure their place.

Step Four

Orientation

Children joining the Kindergarten program will visit the current Kindergarten class throughout Term 4 to familiarisation themselves with the classroom and educators.

Step Five

Inclusion Support Plans

If a child moving into the Kindergarten Program has a disability, their teacher will organise a meeting with the family and current educators to discuss and review their current support plan/program to update it if required and ensure continuity of care.

If required, the Head of School will submit an application to the Inclusion Support Program for funding.

Step Six

Commencement

As per the NSW School terms all Kindergarten children will attend 5 days a week from the first day of the school year.
