Early Independence and Confidence

A Montessori Approach
to Early Childhood Learning

The Montessori Parent/Toddler Program is an ‘Educational Play Group’ designed for both parents and children. Our program focuses on nurturing a child’s desire for independence and confidence in their abilities.

We offer a safe, secure, and enriching environment for toddlers to grow and develop. With specialised Montessori equipment, children have the opportunity to explore and discover.

We have also recently opened both a Mums N Bubs (birth – 9 months) and Parent/Infant (9 months – 18 months) class to our Under 3’s Program. For further information about these new classes please contact us.

Program StructureA Supportive Learning Environment

Our program provides the sense of security and loving care that children need to thrive during this intense learning stage.

Given Infants and toddlers’ strong desire for independence, our educator offers responsive, individual attention as your child navigates positive experiences and occasional frustrations.

Our environment leverages the rapid development of gross and fine motor skills at this stage.

When Infants Can Start the Under 3’s Program

Families can commence in the Under 3’s Program once their child is born by joining the the Mums N Bubs class, then at 9 months children can progress into the Parent/Infant class. Children can then move into the Parent/Toddler class from the time they can walk independently and are developmentally ready for the next stage, typically around 18 months old, until they turn three. At this point, they can transition to the Preschool Programs. Children may attend once a week or more with a parent or guardian.
